Our
Story

Get to Know Us

We are Pages4Progress, a youth-led initiative based in Jersey City tasked with addressing the criminal justice system and the prison-industrial complex. Through our programs and services, we strive to create a culture of literacy within the prison system, where every prisoner has access to high-quality reading materials, personalized instruction, and a supportive community. By promoting literacy and critical thinking skills, we aim to support incarcerated individuals in developing empathy, self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Our vision is a society where everyone has the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed, regardless of their past mistakes or circumstances.
